So, I went to Cameroun, last June, to Gabon and both Congo for a mission of sensitiveness on the elephant’s plight which, as my scientist friend Lee White
had reported , disappear every year by the thousands because of poaching and ivory trade.
With Manuel Valls and Interpol manager , I also want to check the responsibilities we share since I discovered that part of the trade (objects or material concerning these animals),
goes through some French airports !
Even if I don’t have the power to decide, I can touch, gather , convince and show what can be changed. The idea being to high light these problems which we tend to forget.
If we go and like this, in twenty years time, there won’t be any wild elephants left in Africa.
